a pocketful of romance$BlogItemTitle$>
I was engrossed on reading Tagalog pocketbooks since grade six. Always captivated by never-ending passion elicited by those fictional characters (and fiction writers) from each book, I then, tried to save P35 from my usual P100 baon. For a span of time, nobody can stop me from reading pocketbooks published by PHR (Precious Hearts Romances –yes, nothing more) even my mother: she even told me that “ano ba’ng mapapala mo sa pagbabasa n’yan? But when the world of English romance classics was introduced to me before I became a college student, wah! I turned my back from those PHR Tagalog pocketbooks and decided NOT to buy one again.
However, it has been my secret dream to see (and not only read) PHR stories on TV or on the big screen. So I was truly shocked and thrilled to know that
ABS-CBN adapted PHR’s creative writing. It’s good to know that the stories, as well as its writers, were at last –after waiting too long– noticed.
Somewhere in my heart was written by Rose Tan and first published on 2001. As what I’ve related earlier, I SWORE never to buy pocketbooks again but heck! Because of this story I broke my promise.
"Femi was crazy about Aaron.
Aaron hated her guts.
That was yesterday.
O ‘di ba? :) interesting! Add the fact that Kaye Abad and Guji Lorenzana portrayed Femi and Aaron pretty well. WAHIHIHI. Ang gwapo pa ni Guji :)
